My Two Week Executive English Language Course
My name is Andrea and I came to Trebinshun House for a 2 week executive English course in August. For the week-end in the middle of my course I decided to visit Robin and Liza in Pembrokeshire.
I arrived at their castle on Friday in the early evening when the little town was in full sunshine. I was shown into my comfortable bedroom with its private bathroom. This is a very old house so there are no ensuite bathrooms or even showers!
I went for a beautiful walk straight from the Castle down into the little town with its shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs and walked down to the beach and watched the boats in the harbour. I had a nice supper in the pub and it was a 5 minute walk back up to the Castle and my comfortable bed.
In the morning Robin gave me a wonderful cooked English breakfast and I then set off along the Pembrokeshire Coastal path in the sunshine and by the sea the whole way until I got to the Old Sailor’s where I sat in the sun with a pint of beer and a lobster straight from the sea for lunch. I even swam in the sea! I walked back along the coast although there was a good bus I could have used to take me home.
In the evening Robin had booked me a table at the local bistro Blas at Fronlas and I had a drink in the pub before eating my excellent supper. Then it was a 5 minute walk back to the Castle, a quick hello with Robin and Liza, a hot bath and then a long and peaceful sleep!
In the morning after breakfast Robin took me to the train station and I had a peaceful journey through the Welsh countryside, studying my English homework and looking forward to my second week at Trebinshun House.
Archie was at the station to greet me and there were a new group of students to meet, have dinner with and spend the new week with.
A marvellous week-end – I returned to Trebinshun House refreshed and invigorated!
I really recommend this trip!
